We are currently seeking a qualified and ambitious Junior Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) for the Southern Germany Region in Baden-Württemberg.

Your Tasks:

Develops new business for Bourns

Obtain purchase orders from customers within territory and ensures prober handling

Makes an optimum number of face to face sales calls to engineering and purchasing contacts for the purpose of product presentations, pursuing information and obtaining sales orders

Seeks new uses and applications for company products. Assists customers in adopting company products to their own requirements and specifications

Provides Senior Area Sales Manager with a customer / product forecast on a monthly basis

Submits to Senior Area Sales Manager monthly information on customers and market trends

Acquires comprehensive knowledge of all customer personnel and products.

Makes consistent effort to improve knowledge of Bourns product portfolio

Your Profile:

Sound background in electrical engineering, preferably electronics and relevant number of years successful experience in a sales function

Ability to develop and maintain a cordial relationship with engineers and buyers

Ability to interpret customer specifications and make recommendations to customer engineers to

Ability to operate with a minimum of supervision and the ability to solve problems with a minimum of guidance

Must be a self-starter, dependable and accept responsibility

Fluent command of English & the languages spoken within his/her area of responsibilities

Initiative coupled with willingness to carry responsibility

Readiness to travel
