Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d)

In our Electrical Engineering department, we are currently seeking a qualified and ambitious Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d).

Your Tasks:

Execution of project tasks according to plan for assigned development projects

Lead of the software team, especially planning of work packages and continuous development of methods and technology

Development of embedded software for Bourns’ sensors, especially linear and angular sensors for the automotive industry

Development of scripts and tools to support the development and verification of the software under development as well as continuous improvement of development documentation and process and creation of supporting guidelines and templates

Documentation of software design and verification according to ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE

Teamwork with other members of the software and hardware team as well as other teams within Bourns as well as suppliers and development partners

Your Profile:

Graduation in of the following degrees or equivalent: Dipl.-Ing., Phys.-Ing. or Dipl.-Phys.

Several years of experience in the development of software for embedded applications

Experience with development tools such as C compilers, code checkers, Matlab/Simulink, version control systems, programming for microcontrollers, CAN bus protocol

Experience with development to industry standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 26262

Ability to work in teams and independently, ability to communicate development status and results to the team and constructively implement feedback from the development team

Very good language skills in German and English
